Atlas Youth Outreach would like to recognize our supporters who have helped make our dream for Atlas Youth Outreach a reality.

The Dennis and Janet Cotter Pillars of Support Award is given to members of our community who have shown continuous dedication to the mission of Atlas Youth Outreach.

Dennis and Janet Cotter were pillars in their community—for their family, their friends, and the people around them. Dennis spent his life in service to others: first as a special education teacher, then as a registered nurse, and later as a social worker. Janet dedicated over 30 years to the field of education, always providing encouragement, guidance, and care to young people.

Both Dennis and Janet believed deeply in the power of kindness and compassion, and in the fundamental truth that every person deserves love, support, and assistance. They understood that adolescence is a time of transition, growth, and unique challenges—and that young people need extra support during this season of life.

Dennis and Janet Cotter created a legacy of compassion and advocacy—one that continues to inspire the work we do every day. With this award, we honor their memory by recognizing others who carry that same spirit forward in service of youth and community.
